Id say not lazy but those are the difficult parts, since the pose is already difficult, maybe this will help with the face and hands - Ive got an ancient version of Poser that allows me to pose figures, so i tried to simulate the pose you did with that necromancer:

Yes all the figures in this software is naked so I blocked out the naughty bits so that I don't get banned from this forum lol. Hope it helps?

I think it was Blue's intention to stylize the way he did.

Commissions only have to be good enough that the commissioner doesn't throw it back.

You guys can stop jumping on the CnC bandwagon now. There's a real CnC thread that needs some attention a few threads down.

The idea was something more marvel-y than realistic, but it is true that I haven't really touched the face since the sketch. I thank you for the pose, but mostly it's just some foreshortening going on.

Anyhow, today's moving day for me. Tomorrow I'm going to be at my new apartment in Berkeley. I'll try to finish during the day time today, but if not, it might drag to next week. Goddamn.

I never really mind CnC, so don't worry, you wont offend me :P. I actually wanted to post this in the CnC thread, but I thought it might be better for the commissioner if J just finished it haha.

I've enjoyed looking at your process even more than the completed work .. why not compile them all into a gif~?

as for location, hm .. the vortex is reminiscent of Unwaking, but the murkiness of it tells me that this belongs in some of the shadier parts of Kaineng like Sunjiang ..
